Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 (2018) is a little bit better than the Huawei P9, with a 79.2 score against 72.9. Even though Galaxy A8 (2018) is newer than the Huawei P9, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Huawei P9 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A8 (2018), although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) has a little more vivid display than Huawei P9, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2220, a little bigger display and a just a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P9, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'s camera is just as good as the camera in Huawei P9, because although the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, it also counts with a much larger aperture and a back camera with a much higher 16 mega-pixels resolution.
Huawei P9 and Galaxy A8 (2018) both have quite similar battery performance.
