Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy J8 is a bit better than the Huawei P9, having a score of 76.7 against 72.9. The Samsung Galaxy J8 body is notably newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei P9. The Huawei P9 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Huawei P9 features a much better display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Galaxy J8 features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei P9, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB, the Galaxy J8 also has 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy J8 features a slightly better camera than Huawei P9, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy J8 also counts with a lot larger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations, a lot better 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with just a bit better battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 17 percent greater battery size.
