Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than Huawei P9, getting a overall score of 85 against 72.9. Samsung Galaxy M40's design is noticeably newer, but heavier and thicker than the Huawei P9. The Huawei P9 features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Huawei P9 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixel number per display inch. Samsung Galaxy M40 features a much greater memory for games and applications than Huawei P9, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M40 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P9, because it has a bigger back camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures, a lot bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos, a way higher resolution camera in the back and a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
Galaxy M40 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei P9, because it has a 17% larger battery capacity.
