Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 81.2, which is better than the Huawei P9's overall score of 72.9. Even being the best phone in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a way older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Huawei P9. The Galaxy Note 3 features a little bit better display than Huawei P9, because although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a bit larger display.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little bit more memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P9, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei P9 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei P9 also counts with 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Note 3 has a bit longer battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P9, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a way higher (4K) video definition and a more mega-pixels back facing camera.
