Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is much better than Huawei P9's general score of 72.9. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 construction is newer, but incredibly thicker and notably heavier than Huawei P9. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P9, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a bigger display and a little bit greater display density.
The Huawei P9 and the Galaxy Note8 feature quite similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy Note8 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Huawei P9, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 32 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy Note8 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P9, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger sensor capturing better quality pictures and videos, a lot larger camera aperture and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Galaxy Note8 features just a little better battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 10% more battery size.
