The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is slightly better than Huawei P9, getting a 77.8 score against 72.9. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a better cellphone than the Huawei P9, we must highlight that it is also older, much thicker and a little bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a sharper display than Huawei P9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a little bit higher screen density.
The Galaxy S5 Sport's processing unit is very similar to Huawei P9's processor, because although the Galaxy S5 Sport has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser 2.5 GHz processing cores, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Huawei P9 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei P9 features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P9, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also has a lot higher video resolution, a back facing camera with a much better 16 mega-pixels resolution and a larger sensor capturing higher quality photos and videos.
