Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Huawei P9, getting a global score of 85.7 against 72.9. Although the Galaxy S6 Edge is older and a bit thicker than Huawei P9, it's construction is still a bit lighter. Galaxy S6 Edge has a much sharper display than Huawei P9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P9, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit better performance than Huawei P9, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has an extra graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processing unit.
The Huawei P9 features just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity. Huawei P9 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a lot lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, a smaller back-facing camera sensor, a tinier aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos and a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels.
