Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P9's general score of 72.9. The Xperia XZ Premium body is newer, but thicker and heavier than the Huawei P9. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much more vibrant display than Huawei P9, because it has a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a lot greater pixel quantity per display inch.
Xperia XZ Premium has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P9, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Xperia XZ Premium also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium has a processor that's just as good as the Huawei P9 one, and although the Xperia XZ Premium has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P9, because it has 3230mAh of battery capacity. Sony Xperia XZ Premium shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P9, because it has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos, a bigger diafragm aperture, a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a lot higher video quality.
