Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is slightly better than the Huawei P9, with a general score of 77.7 against 72.9. Despite being the best we are comparing, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's body is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei P9. Huawei P9 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels quantity per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei P9 has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a slightly better camera than Huawei P9, and although they both have a back camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a lot better video resolution, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photography and video.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little better battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 3350mAh battery size.
