Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P9's 72.9 overall score. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is newer than the Huawei P9, it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. The Huawei P9 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a bit better pixels number per inch in the screen.
Huawei P9 features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has more storage to install applications and games than Huawei P9, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P9 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video quality, the same resolution back camera and a F2.2 camera aperture, the Huawei P9 also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has better battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 33% greater battery size.
