Comparison review
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a global score of 76.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Y9 (2019)'s 73.5 score. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo version, providing lots of additional features and performance enhancements. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is an a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker phone than Huawei Y9 (2019).
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a display that's very similar to Huawei Y9 (2019)'s display, because although the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a bit lower 1080 x 2310 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher screen pixel density. Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s processor is just as good as the processor in Huawei Y9 (2019), both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features just a bit better camera than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same aperture, the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a back facing camera with more mega pixels. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Y9 (2019), because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s battery duration is very similar to the battery life in Huawei Y9 (2019).
