Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is a lot better than the Huawei Y9 (2019)'s general score of 73.5. The Huawei P40 Pro construction is newer than the Huawei Y9 (2019)'s, but it is somewhat heavier and a little thicker. These devices use Android OS, but Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Y9 (2019), because it has a just a bit more pixels per display inch, a slightly higher 1200 x 2640 resolution and a quite larger screen.
Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better memory for apps and games than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Y9 (2019), because it has a 4200mAh battery size. The Huawei P40 Pro takes way better photographs and videos than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a way better (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
