The LG G8 ThinQ is much better than Huawei Y9 (2019), with an 84.3 score against 73.5. Although the LG G8 ThinQ and the Huawei Y9 (2019) were only released 3 months apart, the LG G8 ThinQ construction is a bit lighter but also a little thicker than the Huawei Y9 (2019). Both devices in this review use Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo, giving some additional features and performance enhancements.
LG G8 ThinQ features a sharper screen than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei Y9 (2019), because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ features a little better performance than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ features a superior camera than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a back facing camera with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger camera aperture to take better captures and videos in low light situations.
Huawei Y9 (2019) features a bit longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3500mAh.
