Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Huawei Y9 (2019)'s 73.5 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy A40 and the Huawei Y9 (2019) were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A40 is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has the older 11 version and Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei Y9 (2019) features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount.
