The Samsung Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than the Huawei Y9 (2019), with an 80 score against 73.5. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M12 has 10 version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy M12 body is a lot newer, but heavier and thicker than the Huawei Y9 (2019).
The Huawei Y9 (2019) counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy M12. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Y9 (2019) has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei Y9 (2019) also has a better pixel count per inch of screen and a way better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Galaxy M12 features a superior camera than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M12 features much more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy M12 counts with a much better battery performance than Huawei Y9 (2019), because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
