Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than the Huawei Y9 (2019), getting a score of 83 against 73.5. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo version, counting with some nice extra features and improved performance. Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better memory for games and applications than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Y9 (2019) has improved battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 21 percent larger battery capacity.
