Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than the Huawei Y9 (2019), getting a score of 83 against 73.5. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo version, counting with some nice extra features and improved performance. Although it's the best cellphone we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older, just a bit thicker and heavier cellphone than Huawei Y9 (2019).

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better display than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel number in each inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960. The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better processing power than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 shoots clearer photos and videos than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a camera with lesser MP, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and videos. Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better memory for games and applications than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.

The Huawei Y9 (2019) has improved battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 21 percent larger battery capacity.
