The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Y9 (2019)'s global score of 73.5. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version and Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Huawei Y9 (2019) counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a higher pixels density and a bigger screen. Galaxy XCover 5 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
Huawei Y9 (2019) features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy XCover 5. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei Y9 (2019) has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy XCover 5 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Y9 (2019), and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a more megapixels camera in the back.
