Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a score of 81.4, which is much better than the Huawei Y9 (2019)'s 73.5 global score. Although the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE and Huawei Y9 (2019) were released only a couple months apart, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner. These phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei Y9 (2019) has Android 8.1 Oreo version, providing you a couple additional features and optimized performance.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a bit better screen than Huawei Y9 (2019), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
