The Galaxy A31 is much better than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, getting an 81.3 score against 72.2. The Galaxy A31 is a a lot lighter and much thinner phone than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, even when they were released with only a few months difference. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding operating system features.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a bit higher pixels number in each inch of display. The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity.
The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy A31 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A31 has a bit superior battery life than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
