The Galaxy S5 is much better than the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, having a global score of 80.8 against 72.2. Although Galaxy S5 is way older than the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, it's design is a lot thinner and extremely lighter. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Galaxy S5 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has Android 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a better looking screen than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel number in each inch in the screen. Galaxy S5 has just a bit better performance than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Kyocera DuraForce Ultra counts with a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs or videos in low light environments and a lot lower resolution back-facing camera.
