The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, having a overall score of 78.1 against 72.2. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has 11 version and Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 construction is a lot thinner and extremely lighter than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although both of them were released with only 2 months difference.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a little better performance than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also has more RAM memory. Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a sharper display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a quite bigger screen and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2160.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra counts with more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it has a camera in the back with lot less MP and a much lower (Full HD) video definition, they both have the same diafragm aperture.
The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 50 percent more battery size.
