The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is just a bit better than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, getting a 77.5 score against 72.2. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's construction is noticeably thinner and way lighter than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it was released many years before. Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a higher display pixel density.
The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a much better memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1 TB. Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 cores, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with improved battery performance than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better camera than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it has a lot less MP resolution camera, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs or video in poorly lited situations.
