Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a bit better than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, with a 75.8 score against 72.2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is way lighter and extremely thinner than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before. These phones have Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has Android 10 version, providing a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2160px resolution, the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen. Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has a little longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro captures slightly better photographs and videos than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it has a much lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video and a back camera with lot less mega-pixels.
