The HTC Wildfire S has a global score of 47.7, which is just a bit better than the Kyocera Rise's general score of 43.9. Both of these phones include Android OS, but HTC Wildfire S has the older 2.3.4 version and Kyocera Rise has Android 4.0 version. HTC Wildfire S's body has the same thickness than Kyocera Rise, but it is somewhat lighter.

Kyocera Rise has a bit superior CPU than HTC Wildfire S, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, they both have the same number of cores and 512 MB of RAM. HTC Wildfire S features a little bit better display than Kyocera Rise, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 480 x 320px, the HTC Wildfire S also counts with a quite better pixel density.

The HTC Wildfire S shoots better pictures and videos than Kyocera Rise, because it has a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
