Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is better than LG G Flex 2, getting a overall score of 87 against 75.2. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version and LG G Flex 2 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy A42 body is newer and just a bit thinner than the LG G Flex 2's, although it is also incredibly heavier.
The LG G Flex 2 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher display density and a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than LG G Flex 2, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The LG G Flex 2 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Flex 2 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bits CPU. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than LG G Flex 2, because it has a 67% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy A42 captures a lot better photos and videos than LG G Flex 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A42 also has a back facing camera with much more MP.
