Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than the LG G Flex 2, with an 81.9 score against 75.2. The Galaxy S8 Active construction is much newer, but extremely heavier and a bit thicker than the LG G Flex 2. LG G Flex 2 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G Flex 2 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics co-processor.
LG G Flex 2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S8 Active, although it has way lesser pixels per inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px. Galaxy S8 Active has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Flex 2, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with improved battery lifetime than LG G Flex 2, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy S8 Active features a superior camera than LG G Flex 2, although it has a back camera with a worse resolution and a worse (4K) video quality.
Galaxy S8 Active is more expensive than LG G Flex 2, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
