Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than LG G Flex 2, getting an 82.6 score against 75.2. The Sony Xperia 1 construction is much newer and somewhat thinner, but also heavier than the LG G Flex 2. LG G Flex 2 has a bit superior CPU than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Flex 2 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bits processor.

The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better looking display than LG G Flex 2, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher screen density and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840. The Xperia 1 counts with a better camera than LG G Flex 2, although it has a lower 3840x2160 video quality and a back camera with a lower 12 MP resolution.

Sony Xperia 1 counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G Flex 2, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than LG G Flex 2, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Flex 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Flex 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia 1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Flex 2, resigning some specifications.
