Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than LG G Pro 2's 74.8 general score. Galaxy A40 is a noticeably newer phone, and it's also just a little thinner and lighter than the LG G Pro 2. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version and LG G Pro 2 has Android 5.0 version.
The LG G Pro 2 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy A40, although it has a bit worse pixel density and a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, they both have a screen with the same size. LG G Pro 2 features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
LG G Pro 2 and Galaxy A40 both count with really similar cameras, and although the Galaxy A40 has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photos, a way larger aperture and a more megapixels back-facing camera, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates.
Galaxy A40 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than LG G Pro 2, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The LG G Pro 2 has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
