LG Velvet is much better than LG G3, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 74.1. The LG Velvet body is newer and thinner than LG G3's, although it is also somewhat heavier. LG G3 has a way better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly higher 2560 x 1440px resolution.
The LG Velvet counts with much more memory for games and applications than LG G3, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. LG G3 and LG Velvet feature incredibly similar processors, because although the LG Velvet has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.
The LG Velvet shoots greater pictures and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the LG Velvet also has a much larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video, a way bigger back camera sensor and a camera with a much higher resolution.
LG Velvet features a way better battery duration than LG G3, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
LG Velvet costs a little more than the LG G3, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
