Samsung Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.3, which is better than the LG G3's 74.1 general score. Samsung Galaxy S6 is a newer phone, and it is also a lot thinner and a little bit lighter than the LG G3. Both of these phones come with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a little faster processor than LG G3, because it has 1 GB more RAM, a better GPU, a 64 bits processing unit and more processing cores (although slower). LG G3 features a little sharper display than Galaxy S6, because although it has a just a little worse display pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the LG G3 also counts with a little bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than LG G3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. Galaxy S6 has a slightly better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S6 also has a back camera with more mega-pixels, a lot bigger aperture to take better low-light images and a bigger sensor.
The LG G3 has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S6 is also cheaper than the LG G3, which makes it a very good choice.
