Comparison review

LG G3 is slightly better than the LG G5, getting a overall score of 76.4 against 76.1. LG G3's construction is a bit lighter than the LG G5, but it's somewhat thicker and was released a little bit more than a year before. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but LG G3 has 5.0 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The LG G3 has a much better looking screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the LG G3 also counts with a quite bigger screen. LG G5 features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G5 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

LG G3 counts with a little bit better processing power than LG G5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the LG G3 also counts with a GPU. The LG G3 has a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. LG G5 captures just a bit better videos and photos than LG G3, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG G5 also has a more megapixels camera in the back, a lot bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos and a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, the LG G3 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
