Comparison review

The LG G7 ThinQ is a little bit better than the LG G3, getting an 81 score against 76.4. Both phones we are comparing use Android operating system, but the LG G7 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0, so it counts with some additional features and improved performance. The LG G7 ThinQ is a notably newer and thinner device than LG G3, but it is a bit heavier.

LG G7 ThinQ has a little faster processor than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The LG G3 counts with a slightly better looking display than LG G7 ThinQ, although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a little bit less pixels per screen inch, a little smaller screen and way darker screen.

LG G7 ThinQ shoots slightly better pictures and videos than LG G3, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited environments, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a better resolution back camera.

LG G7 ThinQ features a much greater storage for apps and games than LG G3, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The LG G7 ThinQ has a battery lifetime that's very similar to LG G3's battery duration.

LG G7 ThinQ costs a little more money than LG G3, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
