LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is much better than the LG G3's 76.4 general score. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version, counting with a lot of extra features. LG G8 ThinQ's design is a lot newer and a little bit thinner than LG G3's, but it's heavier.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better CPU than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster) and more RAM. The LG G3 counts with a bit better looking screen than LG G8 ThinQ, although it has a little worse number of pixels per inch in the screen, a bit worse 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a little smaller screen and much less brightness.

LG G8 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than LG G3, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a camera in the back with lesser mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and a much bigger diafragm aperture. LG G8 ThinQ features just a little better battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 17% greater battery size.

LG G8 ThinQ is more expensive than LG G3, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
