The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than LG G3's global score of 76.4. These phones include Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and LG G3 has Android 5.0 version. LG V30S ThinQ's design is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than LG G3's, although it's a little bit heavier.

LG G3 and LG V30S ThinQ both count with similar CPUs, because although the LG V30S ThinQ has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. LG G3 has a much better display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a just a little lower count of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit smaller display.

LG V30S ThinQ has a much better memory to store more apps and games than LG G3, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better battery performance than LG G3, because it has a 3300mAh battery size. LG V30S ThinQ features a slightly better camera than LG G3, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a better 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and videos.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G3, resigning some specifications.
