Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 global score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 5 has newer 5.1 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0, so it offers a lot of extra features. Although the Galaxy Note 5 is heavier than the LG G3, it's somewhat thinner and newer.

LG G3 has a superior hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). LG G3 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the LG G3 also counts with a just a bit higher pixels quantity per display inch.

The Galaxy Note 5 captures a bit better videos and photos than LG G3, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a back facing camera with more mega-pixels, a much bigger camera aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments and a larger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

The LG G3 has just a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and LG G3 both feature quite similar battery durations.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG G3, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
