Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a general score of 80.9, which is just a bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 global score. Both phones in this review include the same Android 5.0 operating system. The Galaxy S6 Active features a bit faster processor than LG G3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a 64-bits processing unit, more processing cores (although they are slower) and a better graphics processor working at 650 megahertz.
The LG G3 counts with a slightly better looking display than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a bit lower pixel amount in each inch in the screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the LG G3 also counts with a little bigger display. LG G3 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a back-facing camera with less MP resolution, a worse 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier back camera sensor and a way smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos.
LG G3 features a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have the same internal memory. Galaxy S6 Active has a little better battery lifetime than LG G3, because it has a 17 percent more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G3, resigning some specifications.
