The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 global score. Even though Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is newer than the LG G3, it's just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has newer 11 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
The LG G3 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has 1 GB less RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. LG G3 features a way better display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a quite larger display, a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a lot higher amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G3 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower 13 megapixels resolution and a much smaller aperture, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality. The Galaxy XCover 5 has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G3, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
LG G3 and Galaxy XCover 5 both count with similar batteries performance.
