The Xperia 1 V is slightly better than the LG G3, having an 82.7 score against 76.4. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but Xperia 1 V has a more recent 13 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0. The Xperia 1 V design is noticeably newer and a bit thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the LG G3.
LG G3 counts with a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a way worse resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little bit smaller screen and a little less pixels per inch in the display. LG G3 has a way better performance than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 4 lesser cpu cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
Sony Xperia 1 V has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Xperia 1 V counts with a way better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia 1 V also has a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video, better video frame rates, a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photographs and videos.
The Xperia 1 V counts with a superior battery life than LG G3, because it has a 67% larger battery size.
