Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a global score of 79, which is a bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 general score. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and LG G3 has Android 5.0, offering a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Xperia XZ2 Compact is a much newer phone than the LG G3, although it is heavier and notably thicker.
The LG G3 has a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has much less brightness, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440px resolution, a bit bigger display and a bit higher number of pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better performance than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels, a larger aperture, a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and better video frame rate.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with much more memory for apps and games than LG G3, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. LG G3 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
