Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z3 is a little bit better than LG G3, having a general score of 77.3 against 76.4. The Sony Xperia Z3 design has the same thickness than LG G3, but it's heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z3 has the previous 4.4.4 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version.
The Xperia Z3 has a CPU that is just as good as the processing unit in LG G3, they have a 450 MHz GPU, the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM memory. LG G3 has a bit better screen than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has much worse brightness, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440px resolution, a better display pixel density and a little bit bigger screen.
Xperia Z3 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia Z3 also has a way more megapixels camera in the back, a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Xperia Z3 has as much storage to install applications and games as LG G3, both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and equal internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia Z3 features a bit better battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Z3 is a better device, it costs a little more money than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z3, else you can save some dollars and get the LG G3, letting go some specifications.
