Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 has a global score of 77.6, which is a bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 score. Even though Sony Xperia Z5 is a bit heavier than the LG G3, it's thinner and also newer. These devices have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z5 has a newer 5.1 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version, giving some nice extra features.
The LG G3 counts with a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a better quantity of pixels per display inch and a little bit larger screen. LG G3 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xperia Z5, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have 3 GB of RAM and a 450 MHz graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 features a much better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia Z5 also has a much larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography, a much bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures and a much more MP camera in the back.
Xperia Z5 counts with a bit more storage to store more games and applications than LG G3, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia Z5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 200 GB. The LG G3 has a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, else you can save some money and buy the LG G3, giving up a couple features and specifications.
