Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than LG G3 Cat. 6's 72.6 global score. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has an older 11 version and LG G3 Cat. 6 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy A40's design is a lot newer, a bit lighter and thinner than LG G3 Cat. 6.
