Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is better than the LG G3 Cat. 6's 72.6 score. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the newer 5.0 version while LG G3 Cat. 6 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a thinner and somewhat lighter device than the LG G3 Cat. 6, even when both of them were released only 9 months apart.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more powerful CPU than LG G3 Cat. 6, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics processor working at 650 megahertz, a higher number of cores (although slower) and a 64-bit processor. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G3 Cat. 6, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The LG G3 Cat. 6 has just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G3 Cat. 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G3 Cat. 6. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG G3 Cat. 6, resigning a couple specs and features.
