The LG G7 ThinQ has an overall score of 81, which is slightly better than LG G3's general score of 76.4. LG G7 ThinQ's design is a lot newer and thinner than LG G3's, although it is also a bit heavier. These phones include Android OS, but LG G7 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0, providing the user some extra features.

The LG G3 features a bit sharper display than LG G7 ThinQ, although it has a quite lower 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little bit smaller display, a quite lower display density and much less brightness. LG G7 ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.

The LG G7 ThinQ captures clearer pictures and videos than LG G3, because although it has a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way larger aperture for better low light photography and a more mega pixels camera.

The LG G7 ThinQ has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G3, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG G3 and the LG G7 ThinQ count with quite similar batteries performance.

LG G7 ThinQ is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also cheaper than the LG G3.
