Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than LG G5's 76.1 global score. These phones come with Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the previous 14 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 is incredibly newer than LG G5, it's a lot heavier and thicker.
LG G5 has a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores.
