Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than LG G5's 76.1 global score. These phones come with Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the previous 14 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 is incredibly newer than LG G5, it's a lot heavier and thicker.
LG G5 has a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit sharper screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a lot lower pixels amount per screen inch, it also counts with a bigger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a lot better camera than LG G5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution, a back camera with a much higher resolution and a much larger back camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has slightly more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a really longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
