Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is a bit better than LG G5's 76.1 overall score. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, it must be told that it is also heavier and a little thicker. The LG G5 counts with a brighter display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much better display pixels density.
Huawei Mate 8 has just a little better processing power than LG G5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 4 more cpu cores. LG G5 has slightly more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 43 percent larger battery capacity. LG G5 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a back camera with a 16 mega pixels, the LG G5 also has a bigger aperture to take better photos in low-light environments and a much higher video resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs more money than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G5, giving up some specs and features.
