Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is much better than LG G5, with an 89.1 score against 76.1. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is newer than the LG G5, it is just a bit thicker and a lot heavier. These phones work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X2 has an older 10 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better CPU than LG G5, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores. The LG G5 has a bit better screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a greater display pixel density.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate X2 has a much better camera than LG G5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a much longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G5, letting go some specs and features.
