The Huawei P30 is a little bit better than the LG G5, getting an 81.7 score against 76.1. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P30 has an older 10 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Huawei P30's body is way newer than the LG G5's, but it is just a little heavier and just a little thicker.
LG G5 features a little bit better display than Huawei P30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixel number in each screen inch. LG G5 has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P30, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Huawei P30 features a little faster processor than LG G5, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Huawei P30 captures much clearer photographs and videos than LG G5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei P30 also has a back camera with lot more megapixels and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei P30 features longer battery duration than LG G5, because it has 3650mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Huawei P30 costs a little more than the LG G5, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
