Comparison review

The Huawei P40 Lite has an overall score of 79.5, which is slightly better than LG G5's 76.1 overall score. Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Huawei P40 Lite has an older 10 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Huawei P40 Lite is newer than the LG G5, it is thicker and somewhat heavier.

LG G5 has a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better pixel count in each display inch. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit faster processor than LG G5, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.

Huawei P40 Lite shoots a little bit better videos and photos than LG G5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a lot more mega pixels back camera and a way larger sensor shooting lot better quality photographs.

LG G5 features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei P40 Lite features a way better battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Huawei P40 Lite is also a bargain compared to others, making this phone a no doubt choice.
