Comparison review

The LG G3 has a global score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than the LG G5's overall score of 76.1. Despite of the fact the LG G3 is older and somewhat thicker than the LG G5, it's design is still just a little bit lighter. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the LG G3 has 5.0 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The LG G3 counts with just a bit better performance than LG G5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G3 also counts with a graphics processing unit. LG G3 has a much better looking display than LG G5, because although it has a quite inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the LG G3 also counts with a quite larger screen.

The LG G5 takes a bit better photos and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the LG G5 also has a much larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video, a more mega pixels back-facing camera and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The LG G5 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G3, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the LG G5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G3 counts with a little better battery duration than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

LG G3 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest.
